Makeup Artist in Singapore - Why and How

I thought it will be good for my first blogpost to be sharing more about me, as a freelanced makeup artist in Singapore.

Since 2013, I’ve been following my hubby (boyfriend then), Cepheus, as his dearest minion, for his shoots. Those were days when we both were still schooling. As his minion following his shoots, I do mainly all the behind the scenes (BTS) work, things like capturing “BTS” moments of him shooting, receeing locations ahead while he was shooting, carrying nightstands & bags for clients etc..

In 2016, I started thinking of ways on how I can assist him further for his shoots.
It was then when I thought how good it will be if I can do makeup & hairstyling for his clients too!
With that inspiration, I started searching for possible courses to pick up this useful skill.

In 2017, I started my MUA journey with a professional makeup & hairstyling course from a Taiwan 老师 (teacher).
From then, I discovered the joy and satisfaction in dolling people up.
Being able to witness how your effort transforms someone instantly to a pretty doll for the day,
gives me a great sense of fulfilment.

I hope I will be able to work with more ladies and continue to be better in what I’m doing.
